It Came From Heaven - “Preach My Gospel”
Elders Parrish and Ritchie with Sister and President Quinn at zone conference
This week as President Quinn and I toured the mission with zone conferences it became clear once again that Preach My Gospel, A Guide to Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, (PMG) teaches us not only how to share the gospel, but it also transforms us as disciples. No wonder it has been said it came straight from heaven. To quote Elder Valle, “I love PMG” (Think Peruvian accent.) Elder Schwieder called it “pure literal gold.”

Sometimes missionaries wonder if Preach My Gospel is too big to really use, but this week, our AP’s, Elders Ritchie and Parrish, showed that it’s actually a missionary’s best friend. One Elder said as he flipped the book open, “Wow the Lord put the answer right in front of me.” The book is more than a manual, it is a spiritual guide. Preach my Gospel is the answers to all of our questions.

JUST FOR LAUGHS WITH PMG:
Why did the missionary sleep with PMG under his pillow? He wanted to dream about inspired questions.
Why is PMG like a compass? Because all directions point to Christ.
PMG The only book that can make role plays sound like a good idea.
Missionaries don’t need Siri We have PMG .
Every time I open PMG I feel like It’s winking at me “you got this.”
My favorite part of PMG is the bold print it is like the spirit is yelling.
Missionaries don’t do improv…we do chapter 10.
Zone leaders have one rule when in doubt quote PMG.
