Missionaries Just Want to Have - a Little Fun!
Elders Wiseman, Harris, Platt,& Christensen with Sisters Youngberg, Griffin & Thueson
To help missionaries communicate with one another, we use several Facebook messaging threads. Each district and zone has its own thread, our Mission Leadership Council (MLC) has one, and there is even a thread for the entire mission. President Quinn and I are part of all of them, which means we get a front-row seat to everything happening across the mission.

One of my favorite things to watch for is what happens when a district or zone sets a goal. The zone leaders will often invite the missionaries to celebrate accomplishing the goal by posting a funny photo or for instance posting a specific photo like posing by an animal etc. For example, when a missionary puts a friend on date for baptism, reaches a key indicator, or successfully follows our CASRM 4x24 protocol, the celebration begins with creativity, enthusiasm, and occasionally questionable photography choices showing up on the thread.
Lately, I have found myself laughing out loud at many of these photos, so I thought I would share some with you. After all, missionaries work incredibly hard and apparently, they also have a hidden talent for a little bit of comedy. I hope you will enjoy the photos I pulled off the threads!

Okay, so maybe a little bit of a photo over load, but I couldn't help myself! I hope you had a good laugh!! I just recently told the missionaries in zone conference that laughter is the best medicine and we ought to look for reasons to laugh out loud! I sure love all of these missionaries and all of the missionaries not in these photos that serve here in the California Santa Rosa Mission. Life is good, mission life is good!
I am excited to announce the “Coming to Know Him” journal prompt #34. I can’t wait to see how each of the missionaires answer this question. Have a great week.
I love you, ❤️ Sister Quinn
